Do we know what colors to expect for the interior yet?CLEAN 06-21-2008, 06:16 PM I figure black, gray, and tan will be givens, but have any others been alluded to? Dest98 06-22-2008, 03:18 PM The cat definately needs one bold, distinctive color and I doubt GM will disappoint. My bet is on red like the Vettes & Mustangs, but I think blue like the GTO had would be nifty as well. vonmoldy 06-24-2008, 05:52 PM I really liked the white in the convertible concept. It would be cool to have a green car with white/black interior. Nightshade 06-25-2008, 01:04 AM I'd like to see black and blue leather seats/door panels, mainly because one way or another I'm getting a blue camaro. (Though I'm still hoping one of the two 'unannounced' colors is LeMans blue...) I imagine the pattern will look something like the GTO's red/black combo. Once again hoping that GM does what I want, I'd like to see Camaro/SS/Z28 specific symbols in the interior, mainly on the driver and passenger seats. So it's probably a good assumption that the standard colors will be black/tan. Then hopefully black/color of the camaro two-toned leather. Comments? Good Ph.D 07-22-2008, 05:57 PM CP: "One of the really cool things on the interior is, when you start the car, the sequence of lighting and the instrument cluster gauges are all illuminated in a cool kind of a way. There is a light ring that goes around the actual tachometer and speedometer. Additionally, on cars with a leather interior, there is what we call a two-inch ambient lighting LED pipe that goes across the instrument panel and then also goes into the door trim on each side. It's very similar to what was in the concept car. It will have ice blue lighting, and we have a special inferno orange accent package with orange seat inserts and orange-red ambient light. Through GM accessories dealers, you will also be able to get different colored accessory pieces. Also, GM accessories will offer 21-inch wheels in two different looks. They should fit both the V-6 and the V-8 car. More Camaro accessories will be announced during the 2008 SEMA show." http://www.automobilemag.com/new_and_future_cars/2010/0807_2010_chevrolet_camaro_cheryl_pilcher_question _answer/larry_sully_gm_accessories_design_manager.html Orange available from the factory, but I hope that's not the extent of it. Orange, depending on how it's done, is less appealing than red if you ask me. Plus you're than limited to a black, orange, or gray car. It also says accessory pieces are available, but that's probably door panels and maybe something else. I don't imagine it will be seat inserts as I don't think the dealers would be willing or able to change seat fabrics. My personal choice would be a blue car with white leather, but that's not likely to happen without a custom shop. | ||
