the car looks awsome, but for some reason i like the gold bowtie better

The red outline bow-tie looks too '80s or '90s-ish.

I'd rather see the solid gold or solid blue bow tie. Whatever they did in the '60s.

Yes, I hate the gold bowtie...but I'm sorry, red doesn't exactly look great with orange. I'd rather it match the body color. I'm sure it's just for the movie, but I'm not crazy about the changes they made to the car...nose and rims aren't great...but hey, assuming it's the same prop as they used in the first movie, it's really a GTO.

I'm sure the aftermarket will offer a cornicopia of bowties options. I would prefer body color, but if it's PINK it won't stop me from buying my Camaro. I'll just put electrical tape over it until I can get a better colored one. ;)

Nor should it. I don't even know what I think about it yet. Might be more movie prop than anything, or Saleen stuff mentioned above. I am interested to see where it goes, though.

I don't have a problem with it for 2 reasons.
1. I don't see me shelling out around $50 Grand for a Camaro.
2. I think the Top Dog SHOULD have distinctive styling cues. IF I was shelling out the kind of money they are going to sell for, it BETTER stand out from the million other Camaros that are going to be on the road. Think ZR1 Corvette. Or even Z06

Depending on the price tag, that looks like what I'm leaning towards. That, and if it's over a year until the model comes out, I don't know if I can wait.

And if I'm not mistaken, the wheels AND calipers, etc. were fiberglass shells over steel wheels anyway. Body shells provided by GM and modified by Saleen.

My 97 Z had a bowtie on the front as did all 93 through 97 model years I
believe.

Yeah, my LT1 4th gen has a red bowtie on the front :) You can see it even in this picture.

Anything has to be better than the f-cking gold....

I do not like the location of the hood scoop on the concept (actually located in the top of the front bumper cover). Here, they have moved the hood scoop back, into the hood which I think looks a billion times better. Just my opinion. I also agree with the earlier posters that Holden uses that type of fog light arrangement on their top line cars, so I think that is what we are looking at guys. I am guessing this is the styling for the top of the line Camaro. It looks so much like a Holden front bumper cover that I just don't think it is a movie piece....But who knows. Maybe there is a little "pimp" in this 41 year old white boy, but I like it!

Oh, and I hate the Gold bowtie because it looks like an old man. I mean, who buys Gold colored wheels anymore? Who buys gold wedding rings? Who wants a "gold package" on their Toyota Camry (remember the early 90s?!!?) anymore? Titanium is in. Brushed aluminum. I want a Titanium colored brushed bowtie. Awsome.

Cant say I like anything about that car including the red badge. Still would like the Solid blue and still hoping for the Mule grill mesh to replace the concept mesh that seems to have made it to production....

no! instead you want a modern representation of a camaro that did NOT have a pendent.


and on another note: if micheal bay decides bumblebee needs to transform into a camaro with no top, because he can hes a transformer, doesn't mean it will be available as a hardtop vert.

I like the front of that car, it makes at least from the mirrors forward look like the beltline isn't so high and the nose not quit a vertical great wall of china.
