Kooks headers

I have the money to order a set of kooks headers but i was wondering if they are worth the extra money. Or should i get a dif brand like pacesetter or hooker and use the spare cash on other mods?

That's really a question you have to ask yourself. The longevity of your headers
has a lot to do with your environment. For example, down here in Texas,
there isnt a need to throw salt on the roads, which would extend the life
of a non-stainless header. Obviously, there are other factors which would
determine the life of a non-stainless header.

Another factor to consider is how long you anticipate keeping the car. If you
think you'll only have it for 3-4 years, the Kooks would probably be overkill.

Kooks don't just last longer. They'll make more power and torque, and they'll keep underhood temperatures down, which is unquestionably a good thing.

My vote is for the Kooks. I don't believe in cutting corners, and that's exactly what you'd be doing with a set of Pacesetters.

If you're going to keep your car, I would go with the Kooks.

Go with Kooks. If a speed shop has some different ones in stock where you can compare them, Kooks hands down is made better with better materials.

Thanks for the input. I will be going with Kooks. The weather down here is always rainy and crappy. The winters suck too. I will be keeping the car for a pretty good while since i just paid it off. I will eventually make it into a drag only car. As soon as i get another car of course. Thanks again guys.
