triple gauge pod on a 94 z28?

I just got a triple gauge pod designed for a a 97-02 camaro. I haven't been able to find one for a 93-96 car. It doesn't fit in my 94 because of the huge hump below the a-pillar for the useless little airvent.

Has anyone cut/modified a gauge pod to work on an early style interior? I imagine it would be easy to cut off the top and bottom portions of the pod, but I don't want to turn a $61 piece of plastic in garbage.

Ive seen the triple gauge pod for 93-96's but i think its t-top car only...I THINK

Just get a universal autometer triple pod...and screw it into your stock pillar.

I havent' been able to find one of those. Thats why I want to try and cut down the one I have, to try and turn it into a universal pod.

What kind of paint did you use to paint your accents? (ac vents, etc)

Does anyone know where you can get a gauge pod that sits ON TOP of your dash rather than the one that goes on the A-piller(?)..............I've looked but can't seem to find that type.

I think you can get universal pods like that at pep boys or any other equivalent auto parts store.

I sawed alot of material off the top and bottom of my gauge pod, but I got it to fit. It doesn't look perfect, but I don't mind. Nothing on my car looks perfect or even close to it.

I got the paint mixed at my local body shop and then I sprayed them with my little spray gun and compressor. Then clear coated them.
