I plowed over a tree not too long ago, and would love to have this thing fixed, but not for like 6 grand :(. This car is worth fixing isn't it? It's got a TON of upgrades. Just put a 9 inch in it and a new $2600 transmission from Six Speeds Inc (Built for future motor) along with a new clutch, countless other things also.

I got a few estimates from reputable body shops for JUST putting the car on the frame machine and getting it pulled back straight (apparently for the frame rails, i think that is what they meant), then replacing the radiator support. Best estimate I got was for $1600 for everything (Frame Machine & Radiator Support). The Rad Support part is $549 alone.

Can anyone here do this for less and still get it perfect as it was before (if possible lol) ? I am going to need a new engine in the future too, so I really would like to save the money for that! I already ordered a new bumper and it is getting painted real soon. I really dont feel like buying another SS then transplanting the rear and trans and everything, it would be a pain in the ass since i do not know how to do that stuff.

Thanks so much if anyone can help, it would save another SS

honestly doesnt look like 6 g's of damage to me especially if you can do some work your self. Is the subframe tweaked at all or is it just the rad support? You should check out a few junk yards to try and pick up a new radiator support, then replace it your self and then get is painted after you replace the panels. Probably wouldn't be that bad. But honestly if the sub frame is tweaked $1600 to make it straight again doesnt sound bad to me. Where are you located?

you did break a ton of parts there. Thebumper, fender, hood, rad support, lights, headlight bracket, bumper support possibly, underneath panels ect... start searching the fs section and get all your parts used.

Hard to tell in the pics, but it looks like the boxed part of the frame ( below where the head lights would be ) is split. What does the driver's side of the car look like? gap in the door? You may have shoved the front end over a bit?

That radiator support piece saved your battery from exploding.
