95 Formula needs to pass Collin County inspection

I have a '95 Formula w/out a cat-con.

Can I tweak the programming w/ TunerCat to get it lean enough to pass on the Dyno, or will I be forced to install a cat-con?

I have the EGR disabled, and the air pump disabled, but they are still on the car... so it will pass the visual test.

The engine is basically stock w/ stock manifolds, cam, etc. All I need is ideas on what tables to tweak to get it to pass. If I can weld an empty cat-con on the car and load an "emissions" program, I'll be set.

Any ideas?

Unless you can find an inspector willing to run a different car on the dyno, you will most likely have to put a cat on.

No cat = No pass on sniffer test. No matter what you do to the tables it will still smell rich to the machine as you are not burning off the extra HCs in the cat. I highly doubt you will find someone to hookup another car to get it inspected unless they are your best bud, as the fines from Texas these days are very steep - last I heard from 2-5K worth of fines and suspension of inspection certification. Most shops will not do that for you now. Put a cat back on temp and then take it off to after you pass.

Agreed, im an inspector, and I can tell you, ive been asked and offered up to $100, but if I was to get caught, I could spend up to the next two years in jail and have VERY expensive fines. Just get a cat welded in for 75 bucks.
