Order your 5th gen camaro....

If GM were taking orders right now for the new camaro, based on what we already know and what we wish we could have, what would you order?


I would have to order an Artic White hardtop 6 speed Z28. As far as options id want the basic luxuries, power windows/locks, cd/mp3/am/fm sound system, cruise. Id love to have a set of 19 in the front and 20 in the rear wheels in full polished and let them be wide. A nice z rated summer tire is a must. Im still undecided if i want stripes or not but i saw a white shelby gt500 limited with silver stripes today and it looked amazing. Other that that, if a 1le package is available im all over it, plus i need my D80 spoiler.

Just gimme an LS3/M6 hardtop, Blue w/ white stripes and Cloth interior and I'm a happy camper. SS or Z/28...whichever, I don't care. If a faster engine combo is available the first year I'd consider it, if it's not priced out of this world.

Don't gimme extra's such as GPS, heated seats, moonroof, XM, onstar (might not have a choice on that one)...those are all great options for a DD, which my Camaro wont be.

That's it. Hopefully I won't have to order to many additional options for what I want.

Either black or dark blue; highest power model with best suspension; all power-adding accesories through GMPP; biggest wheels/tires; hardtop; black leather interior; power; and tinted windows.

A basic as can be LS3/MN6 hardtop without power windows and locks.If I could get it that way!I would love to have it in a dark brown metallic or bronze color.

I'll be getting an SS hardtop, LS3/M6. It will be black, with gunmetal gray stripes. The 20" wheels will be black with a polished lip, and they'll have the widest rear tires that I can put on them. It will have a GM Accessories body kit (hopefully the one that has the more pronounced rear diffuser and flush-mount exhaust tips). The interior will be black leather. I'll go for the basic audio package, CD/AM/FM stereo. No Onstar.

After it's broken in, I'll be taking it to a local aftermarket tuner. I plan on having them stroke the engine to 396ci, install a slightly larger cam, do a full exhaust with chambered mufflers, etc.

I will then proceed to sh*t all over every Mustang in the area.

I'd take a Glacier Blue convertible with white stripes, parchment interior, white cloth top, loaded to the gills (except On-Star). I'd like the biggest engine if it's not exorbitantly priced, otherwise the next-step-down V-8 would be fine. The 6 spd manual is a must.

I would order a Firebird ;)

It would really depend on what the final specs are on the V6 because I think I would keep the Formula to mess around with and drive the Camaro every day.

I would get the bumble bee paint scheme if it’s available. If not then ummm I guess Black or Blue. If the LS3 version is under $30k and have at least 15 city mpg . I will get that version if not DI V6.

Base V8, Blk/Blk, 6speed, sunroof, small rear spoiler

LS3/M6, hard top with 3.42 in the back, dark/charcoal grey, black leather, small tail spoiler, brembos w/red powdercoat, am/fm/cd/ipod jack/bluetooth, no onstar I will not buy it new because I will get it about 2-3 years from now from some guy who had it has his weekend car and pay about $10K less than sticker for a vehicle that has only about 15-30000k miles on it. :)

But I would like to have an OBD III programmer thrown in with the deal :p

And thus my current SS chall become my play car and will have the heads machined, new cam, custom tranny, custom true dual exhaust, maybe a new FAST 92mm manifold and a couple of other goodies :D

I have an 2002 Artic White B4C hardtop to tide you over. New power window motors (thanks GM :mad: ) Goodrich comps, ceramic brake pads, California Highway Patrol complete with the drilled front end and anntenna mounts (with antennas... I occasionally put them on when I'm going long distance on the freeway... helps with Left Lane Bandits! ;) ).

Lets see..... I Would love to get an ss v8 manual dark midnight blue metalic with silver or black strips, leather, must have the concepts spoiler, maybe some kind of boody kit andthe best stereo option available:D. This like my 99 ss will be my daily driver. IF YOU LOVE IT DRIVE IT!!!!!!:D:D;)

This is a question I have been struggling with for a while now.

I honestly cannot answer without knowing what will be available.... if it were anything!!!! Midnight blue metalic, charcoal grey stripes, sYc convertible.

But really... depending on what the convertible will be offered with, I am leaning that direction, maybe a Z if they turn the vert into a slug.

Most of all I just want colors... I am painting my 69 the same color as what I get, so it would be nice to get some paint on it eventually.

Hmmm probably a V8 6spd convertible in the orange from the concept and black leather interior. Loaded with all the goodies. I have a thing for convertibles. 2 of 3 cars I've owned have been conv. The one exception was my T-Top Camaro.

I personally didn't ever plan on getting a 5th Gen Camaro because I am a pretty big Firebird and Corvette guy. That said, the prospect of a V6 5th Gen as a daily driver so I can make my Formula a fun only car is something I have been thinking about now.
