Power window conversion

I have already converted to power windows. I HAD to because I did a T/A door panel conversion. Manual windows won't work with them so please don't tell me not to swap. I searched for power window conversion and all I saw were people telling others not to swap them rather than anyone giving any real answers.

At any rate, I used an aftermarket window motor kit and one motor is dead. I want to know if I can go to OEM style motors without swapping regulators, etc. Basically, what is involved in swapping from manual to power windows? I already have the switches in the T/A door panel, so I don't need those.

Bump for a burned out aftermarket driver's side motor and hot weather coming up. :(

I guess you could remove your panel and inspect the door innards to see if you can fab up a motor to the gear that the handle used to turn.

Yeah, I could, but I don't really like to remove the door panels more often than necessary. I was hoping maybe somebody here knew. I guess what the main gist of my question would be is are the manual window regulators the same as the power window regulators?
