Almost done this friggin V8 swap, need some help...lt1 guys...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For most of you, you know I'm doing a V6-V8 swap. I've been lally gagging and haven't worked on the car since Feb.

If you remember I was having electrical demons.(no fuel prime, no spark) TODAY I swapped out the underhood fusebox harness (lights, rad) and the internal dash harness all the wy back to the tail lights. Underhood is off a loaded 94z (same as engine harness off a 94z) dash harness is off a 3.4L 94.

When installed the dash harness, and underhood. I rewired the turnsignals with a newer version(95 bulb holders insted of 94) but the wires are the same, lt blue, brown, and black. The old underhood harness had a goofy alarm system that was cut out.(had a remote start...could be a problem?) but once i reinstalled the battery I had ACC and fuel prime.

------------------CLIFF NOTE PORTION HERE:-----------------------

Here's the deal, after the install I do a light check to find my running lights don't work front and rear, fogs don't work, highbeams don't work, turnsignals don't click (or light up). The regular headlights lights come on (when switched on) and the interior lights come on. THE FUEL PUMP PRIMED!!! yahoo! who needs lights... lol jumps up to 30psi and falls with time. (normal? Leak somewhere?) Before the harness swaps everyhting worked perfectly)

---------------------------END-------------------------------------

I'm thinking its a fuse (what do you think), I was frustrated so I packed up for the day. Figure once thats done, I need to realign my rear (driveshaft is not on right) Finish the brakes, swap out the NEW bent flywheel (FK!), throw on my MT's and break in the motor. I'm super excited (considering we are gong on 3 years now... fK!) Reinstall the dash/interior parts, and finish the cooling system. Anyhelp you can provide would be great. Thanks!!!

Then delete the other thread...

I would not have started the project without full wiring diagrams. :)

It's not that I don't have the diagrams. I just was wondering if anyone has had the same problem like with a fuse. I don't have a problem diggin into the wires... i find it fun...
