Subs acting WIERD!!! **HELP**

ok well for the past year my system has been working fine and about a week ago it started acting up, if i cut my radio on with the volume at 0 where u cannot hear whats playing , the Subs are pulsating every second and i can turn the volume up but it still does it and plays the song on my sub but u just cant hear it pulseating , the sound is like a thump sounds and not a bass sound like its supposed to be!! i dont know what the problem is , i hooked another amp up to it and its still doin it...maybe the wiring or something i have no idea!!

Check your RCA's, and radio mounting to make sure something's not grounding out. Also check your ground on the radio and amps, almost sounds like electrical interference.

where does the ground go on the radio on a 96 trans am?

it's most likely the grounding on the amp. check the ground to make sure it's only touching bare metal and that it's held down good. also just check all of your wires to make sure no bare/extra wire is sticking out. mine did the same thing, i rechecked the ground, and what not.

you're gain is set WAY too high. Turn down you're amp gain. Gain is not to be used as a volume.

If you want more bass, get a stronger amp.

nope it was my deck was out, i got a new one and it works perfect now
