In order of importance:

-sticky tires, properly inflated

-Tubular or boxed rear lower control arms (LCA) with poly, spherical, or poly/spherical bushings - depending on the ultimate use of the car.

-rear LCA relocation brackets (might even be #1 with a car that has been lowered 1.8")

-tubular panhard rod, with firmer bushings, as on the LCA's (adjustable is important for a lowered car, to recenter the rear of the body over the axle)

-healthy shocks, correctly matched to the springs.

Subframe connectors will always help... but not as critical to rear wheel traction as the items listed above.

Click on "mods list" in my signature, and scroll down to the "Suspension" section.

-Adjustable torqu arm for higher HP applications
