Get a GM LS6 intake, and use a ported stock throttle body. Stay away, far away from both the BBK intake and throttle body.

The mod list you provide shows a valvetrain setup that's usually only installed with a larger more aggressive aftermarket cam. Are you sure it's stock?

What were the transmission and torque converter replaced with?

Yeah, get as much information as possible, even if you don't understand what it is or means. We can help sort out the details. You're better off knowing EXACTLY what you bought ;)

3.43's are great for an A4, more recommended than 3.73's.

You can't tell from the sound if you have an aftermarket cam or not?

You sure? From everything I've ever seen/read, the rule of thumb was:
A4-3.73
M6-4.10.

The difference will be very minimal unless you go at least a 1/2 gear ratio change (2.73-3.73 or 3.73-4.10) , it's not a huge benefit to go from 3.43 to 3.73 the, he probably won't even be able to tell the difference. 3.43 is a better all around gear for an A4, better mpg and you won't sacrifice too much top end.

Yeah 3.42s are a good gear for an auto, I ran mine that way for a few years. But that was a swapped in M6 rear because my posi was hurt. If I were to go out and buy gears for an auto for street/strip I would get 3.73s.

For a street only car 3.42s and a 3600-3800 stall.
