me(98Z28a4) vs. sprayed 94 Cobra

I actually sold the cobra to this gentleman its a super nice 60k mile 94 cobra with catback, and a 75 shot. My car is a bone stock 98 Z28 with a 160 stat. and brand new tires.
anyway we go out to this old air strip and line em up...hes a die hard ford man, and has oer 10 grand in this car and think its GOD.
So from a dig my car hooks up great with the new tires and i jump out a half a car, by about 75 the nitrous gets him dead even with me.
second race from a 20 roll he jumped a half a car on me till 100 then i got em by 2 cars.
i figured i'd do better than that i guess if he didn't have the nitrous it woulda been a joke needless to say i shut his a** up real quick
we had an audience also and one of his buddies in a new bodystyle S2000 stepped up and me and my friend wih the cobra destroyed that car, pretty sad actually ...
anyway just thought i'd share we do alot of street racin around here

94-95 were the weakest years for the Cobra. Even w/ the gas the ls1 should have spanked it...good kill....By the way there was no 02 Cobra, he either has a 01 or the 03/04....01 could be a good race depending on how he drives, if its an 03/04 you better start modding

Well the 03/04's came from the factory supercharged w/ a underated 390hp and make sick power from simple mods/pulley swap,Ive heard of those cars going mid to even lower 12's stock w/ the right driver.. 01 was 320 hp and generally ran mid 13's stock and make around mid to lower 400's blown. More then likely its a 03/04, either way your gonna need some gas. Once the 03/04 starts modding your going to need more then that gas to hang, and if he decides to do a kenne bell swap it could get expensive . Good luck though the LS1 is no slouch
