Are these a good deal?

At ws6store they are under $300, My brakes over the winter have rusted together and I think its time to step up because I was never happy with the stopping power I had.

Should I just get slotted rotors? I hear that drilled usually crack.

For pads I would recommend Hawk's ceramic pads ... well, basically ANY ceramic (if you don't like brake dust and squealing ;)). I ran the Hawk HPS, and I hate them. The wheels never stay clean, and after not much time at all, they started squealing like crazy when they get hot!? :irk: Garbage.

I've also taken my car out on a couple tracks ... just a street ceramic pad (not Hawks) worked WAY better than the HPS pads. Not that either are intended for track use, but I'm just saying, IMO, they're crap .

I know some people seem to like them, but just IMO, I'd go for the Hawk ceramics for the street .
