i just picked one up and am fishing around for ideas. hard to make one of these things stand out in the most popular color it seems..... and most of the pics on Brent Frankers site are from the mid 90s when these cars came out, so they either terrible pics or fugly cars.lol.

MAN THAT LOOKS FREAKIN COOL!

But I sure wouldn't want those wheels. A guy with a Ferrari F430 I know from some exotic car shows had 20s on his car, and one of his tires went flat, and just the weight of the car bent the rim! Gotta have some more rubber than those rubberbands!

This is one of my favorite red Camaros. It only looks good in these pictures though, because they hide the wheels and gaudy euro taillamps. If he put 35th LE wheels on it, took off the dumb stripe running down the side, and put the stock taillamps back in, it'd be the sweetest red Camaro I've ever seen.

This one I came across on car domain is one of the most well modified cars I've seen. There's obviously a wealthy owner behind it.

Thats my 97 SS. I've got 20" Z06 wheels, 17" ZR1's, and 19" ADR wheels.

the 17's dont look right after having the 20's. but they still look cool with a 315 out back

Where did you get the 20's and what size of tire are you running?

jer4251
04-23-2008, 09:47 PM
i bought them from a guy who had them on a C5 that he just bought. i guess they were too big for his vette and rubbed up front or something. 255/35/20 up front and 285/30/20 in back. the fronts are too skinny, the wheel is wider than the tire. when the time comes, ill put a bigger tire on the front and move them to the back

they are all 10.5" wide

yeah, nearly a year ago now. Bought my silverado, lifted it, threw on a hood, re-inspirited the camaros exhaust on the truck, tint, few other this'n' thats and sold it too. Now im runnin around in an 08 altima coupe (my sporty side demanded I come back.. and gas prices nudged me towards the alti) haha.. Though im considering possible getting back into the Z scene, I cant imagine what insurance would cost me for one.. full coverage anyways (actually owned my old Z, so liability only haha)

My Corolla costs more to insure on full coverage than a '94 Z28, so I can assure you... it probably isn't that much different! (I got this quote in 2005 when I was 20 years old from state farm. The Z28 was $200 less every 6 months!)
