Hi, I bought a summit can to help some with my brakes since my cam is kinda big.
The fittings are all smaller then the stock vacuum fittings.

My question:
Does the one way valve on the brake booster need to stay? Or can I just use the one on the can? THis will make it easier to get the correct fittings on :)

Did the same. Mounted the SSBC vac pump in rear pan area since no up_front room due to D1 prcharger. Long line, (used 1/2" alum) but, works OK. Lost vac assist (3" Hg @ idle) due to FI positive intake manifold pressure. The other solution was to go hydraulic w/ use of the PS pump. More expensive, and, more install work. SSBC says you need 16" Hg minimum vac assist for satisfactory brake force. B.
