Anybody got any Ideas as to how to troubleshoot my Master cylinder or brake booster-I am not ultra familiar with the booster setups but I good at following directions real well and I can understand common sense stuff no problem.....I am currently having problems with my rear brakes but after I got my car to start by itself finally today I noticed that not only do the rear brakes not work but the pedal feels real spongy:confused:.......I need some help with this so I can get it off the stands haha Its been there for 2 weeks now:(

Typically when the brake booster fails the brake pedal is hard as a rock and you have very little braking because you no longer have vacuum assist.

Yeah I picked a few brains at my work to get some info and they said it sounds kinda like I might have air trapped all the way up at the Master cylinder and said I need to try and bleed it out right at the MC....I am going to give that a shot tomorrow and see what happens....I hate not know exactly is wrong with my car ............We'll see what happens when I get at it saturday morning;)

The rear part of the master cylinder was low on fluid-couldn't see due to the walls being a little dirty/stained. I thought I had checked it but turns out I didn't. Pretty dumb on my part I know:(
