Bay Area F-Bidy Gathering- Jan-4th

*** JANUARY 4TH AT 12-NOON. THERE WILL BE A V-6 CAMARO GATHERING IN SAN JOSE.***
Where: Meeting point is in South San Jose: LIGHT RAIL STATION ON COTTLE ROAD.

Directions:
From SF:
1.Take 280 South
2. Merge to 85 South
3. Exit Cottle Road.
4. After you exit the freeway, make a right turn at the light.
5. On the next light make a U-turn.
6. The Light Rail Station will be on your right side.There will be a parking lot. It is big, you won't be able to miss it.

From SJ:
1. Get to 85 by any means.
2. Exit on the Cottle Road.
3. Follow steps 4-6 from the directions above.

From South <Salinas, Monterey, etc>
1. Take 101 North
2. Merge into 85 North
3. Exit on Cottle road going West (Towards the hills on your left side)
4. Follow steps 4-6 from the directions above.

Bring anyone who wants to come. This is going to be mainly v-6 gathering, but if you have friends who have SS's or Z's ask them if they want to join. Please bring your best attitude and respect. I hope any "big" brothers, which might decide to join, will not disrespect our cars. PLEASE DRIVE RESPONSIBLY. I mean do not burn tires on the parking lot, be normal. We can goof off in some other places, later :)))

Meeting starts at 12:00 sharp. We wait one hour on the parking lot, then we off to cruise on 17 to Santa Cruz. Get coffee there and cruise to SF on 1. If you have any other suggestions please bring them out.

Hey, do you think you could post some directions coming from East I-80...??? I live just outside of Sacramento and I don't really want to go all the way to San Fran to hit 280. I'm guessing that I need to get on 680 south, but from there I have no idea. So if you could start from like Fairfield...that'd be great. Sorry about the hassle. I definately want to come!!

Ok.
I am not very well informed about Sacramento Area, but if you can get to 680 SOUTH, it is pretty easy from there.

1. Get on 680 South
2. Drive a looooong time :)
3. 680 Will Merge with 101. Merge to 101 SOUTH
4. From 101 South the exit is called "Silver Creek Road"
5. Exit on the "Silver Creek Road"
6. As soon as you exit the freeway, there will be a stop light.
7. Turn Right at the stop light. (two right lanes)
8. Go straight across the bridge. Do not take any turns. (There will be a right turn onto Monterey Highway. Do not take that,go straight.)
9. As soon as you get to ther bridge, merge to the right as far as possible.
10. Right after the bridge there will be a sharp 270' turn. Take that turn.
11. Keep in the right lane. There will be another right turn. Take that.
12. As soon as you went almost 360degrees, there will be a stop light and (i think) 76 Gas Station on your right side.
13. Keep on going straight.
14. After the gas station you will see another Bridge, which is going over the 85 Freeway. Change to the left lane.
15. Cross the bridge.
16. On the Stop Light after the bridge, make a left turn
17. The parking will be in yout face. It is hard to miss. I will park my car so everyone can see it and I will turn on my emergency lights. It is going to be a red camaro.

I hope you will find us with no problems. If you want, send me a mail, I can give u my cell. But these directions are pretty simple once you get to 680.

wow its been a while since I have posted here. I'm a mod over on camaro/firebirdv6 and that takes up most my time. I would be happy to host some pics of the event. I don't have much space but i'm sure every little bit helps. I will also bring a digi camara and a video camara to get pics from a different view. Maybe in the end we can make a short vid with music and stuff. Oh boy I can't wait:D :metal:

I'll be there in the SS but I used to own a V6 f-body so its cool, I got love.

If I do go I will just hangout in the parking lot for an hour while you wait for everyone that part about driving in a group to get coffee doesn't like something I want to do.

99blackSS,I hope we can accomodate all "requests"once we actually GET TOGETHER. The main point is to get in a "pack". After that, god help us!!!!
