I need a cat converter for my mid tube pacesetter headers that goes on a 95 Z28 and I don't know which one to get.

I need some help here because I threw out my old one. I was told that I could use a stock replacement like the magnaflow but I am not sure.

Those with the Mid tube pacesetter 1 cat y-pipe let me hear from you.

The Magnaflow cats are very good. What kind of y-pipe are you running, stock, aftermarket? What is the diameter of the piping. You will want to know that when sizing up the cat.

It is the pacesetter y-pipe that comes with their Mid tube headers and it is 3" at the opening.

Sadly I got a cheapo Ebay one. I didn't need much to pass SMOG and it did make me pass. With the money I saved I got a cut out, so it pretty much worked out perfect.

Which one did you get? The Carsound/Magnaflow cats are pretty cheap, around sixty bucks and do a pretty good job in scrubing from what I hear.

I should have looked around a little harder then.

I think I spent $30 shipped. But it gets the job done.

Who knows, maybe your cat has different materials as compared to others on the market. Once you factor in the precious metals that some manufacturers use and others don't, it can make a big difference.

You probably bought one specifically for Camaro's.

If you get a Universal one, they are normally pretty cheap.
