How to replace the lock cylinder on the glove box latch?

I got the lock cylinder out of the old latch and noticed it broke a little plastic lip inside getting it out.:eek: Can't get the lock cyl into the new latch w/o busting that little plastic lip inside the latch.:confused:

Anyone know the fix?:bow:
