Door Speaker Height Help

I have read so many posts on what kind of door speakers people have put in theyre doors, my question is according to crutchfield and other sources there is only a .450 inch height clearance
I have read about many speakers here that are above that and I want to know how you got them to fit right, did you have to cut the stock speaker grill to make it fit or what.
I want a speaker that I wont have to do any cutting to the door speaker grill area..
If anyone has some input please let me know as right now the speaker selection is very low due to the dang height protrosion problem

most any speaker will fit. was tehre specific speakers you were looking at. i know for a fact elemental designs EDI6000s and 6500s fit, as well as polk db and polk momo 6.5 and infinity kappa coaxials fit also
