My connection between the EGR end and the Pacesetter mids is leaking. I had some trouble getting it hooked up like the ends didn't fit right. Is there a trick to seal these? Its in a very bad spot and access is extremely tight so i would love to fix this and be able to move on. I even thought of wrapping something around it but not sure what would work best. I thought of eliminating the egr but not quite ready yet.

I'm pretty sure permatx makes some sealant for header gaskets, it's like a really high temp silicone with copper in it or something. So, if it's good enough for headers, it'll definitely handle and egr. I just remember talking to a permatex sales rep about their products a few years back. I'd give it a try seeing as I've always been highly satis fied with theire sealants

I used the Permatex high temp sealant, made sure the surfaces mated good, and cranked down on the bolt.

Mine leaks too. I made a gasket (out of one of my unused pacesetter gaskets) and I'm gonna try that tomorrow.

I took a piece of aluminum foil about 3 feet long and folded it till it was about 6 inches wide. Then i wrapped it around the connection and put a stainless steel clamp on both ends and the leak stopped. The area is tight and i did most from below but it beat having to remove and start over with something else.
