Got the LTs and the LS6 Intake installation complete tonight. Actually got the LTs in last night..took about 4-4.5hrs and a 12 pack of tallboys. Alot of cussing, cut up hands and fingers, and a sore back later, they're in. Finished up the LS6 intake install tonight....took almost as long as the headers did (3hrs). As soon as my block off plates get here, I can fire it up. I wanna than Young at Byunspeed, Daniel at R&D Speed, and Lawnboy on LS1tech for all the help and service. I HIGHLY recommend dealing with the two companies...great service.
I also would highly recommend these headers to everyone. Absolutely NO problems with the install. Slid in like butter...I'm kind of scared that it was so easy...something has to go wrong. With all the horror stories and 8+hour installs I hear about, I couldn't believe it was this easy. The headers tuck up GREAT too.. I lost absolutely NO ground clearance, and maybe even gained some. There's only one spot that might bang around and that's where the Y pipe clamps to the I-Pipe. It's pretty close to the torque arm. However, it's nothing a piece of heater hose won't fix. Here are a couple of pics...once again, I'll link to my photobucket at the end.
