The ARH LTs are now installed

Got the LTs and the LS6 Intake installation complete tonight. Actually got the LTs in last night..took about 4-4.5hrs and a 12 pack of tallboys. Alot of cussing, cut up hands and fingers, and a sore back later, they're in. Finished up the LS6 intake install tonight....took almost as long as the headers did (3hrs). As soon as my block off plates get here, I can fire it up. I wanna than Young at Byunspeed, Daniel at R&D Speed, and Lawnboy on LS1tech for all the help and service. I HIGHLY recommend dealing with the two companies...great service.

I also would highly recommend these headers to everyone. Absolutely NO problems with the install. Slid in like butter...I'm kind of scared that it was so easy...something has to go wrong. With all the horror stories and 8+hour installs I hear about, I couldn't believe it was this easy. The headers tuck up GREAT too.. I lost absolutely NO ground clearance, and maybe even gained some. There's only one spot that might bang around and that's where the Y pipe clamps to the I-Pipe. It's pretty close to the torque arm. However, it's nothing a piece of heater hose won't fix. Here are a couple of pics...once again, I'll link to my photobucket at the end.

Looks good. Did you install the headers with the lift?

Yeah, but it really didn't make a difference other than when I hooked up the catback. The whole time installing the headers, it was worthless to have the car any higher than around 12-"18" off the ground. Any higher and I couldn't reach the bolts to bolt them in place. Atleast I didn't have to jack up each corner one at a time I guess.

How about some vids? SURE...everyone loves vids lol.

Excuse the shakey camera in the driving clip...hard to shift, keep it between the lines, and film at the same time (don't try that at home)

This one's just a sound clip...

Crappy driving vid, but gives you an idea of the sound..

Do you feel like the predator did anything for you? Worth the money? Have you gotten any of the custom tunes downloaded for it?

I feel like I picked up some horses from the tune, It spins alot more in second after the tune even with my Nittos. To me, it was worth it. The guy I bought the tuner from tuned it for me but we really didn't do much with it, just did the performance tune and adjusted the rev limiter and a/f ratio.

and this is one is a little take off, I have a small header leak because of egr/air gaskets and a broken header bolt so it doesn't sound perfect yet

I'm looking at the pictures...the pipe splits before the muffler and one goes into the muffler, is the other one not muffled at all???

its the borla adjustable catback, only the drivers side goes into the muffler, the otherside has a plate that you can change out, thereare different settings like 1/4 open or 1/2 open, mine has no plate so my right side works like a cutout basically, which is why I plan on swapping to GMMG.

LOL...I had to go back and watch it again to figure out what you were talkin' about. I guess you're either from way down south, or the left coast:cool:
