Trying to decide between the AS&M and Edelbrock 68942.

AS&M: http://www.azspeed-marine.com/as19lt1flotu.html

Edel: http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_...ders_tes.shtml

Edelbrock 68942 at Summit for $469.95 (ceramic coated).
AS&M from AS&M for $787.00 (HPC coated, in and out).

The AS&Ms are a bit thicker (14g vs 16g for Edel)
and AS&M primaries are 1 3/4 (vs 1 5/8 in Edel).

(Target for car: 400-450 HP and maintain emissions)

Of the two, I would probably go with the AS&Ms, the quality seems better and they should flow better as well.

For whatever it's worth, I ordered a set of Kooks 1 3/4 to 3" along with their dual-cat/y-pipe and O2 sensor extensions.

I decided it's best to avoid shorty/mids and avoid non-stainless headers/y.

Awesome choice, you won't be disappointed with them. Especially when they turn gold

Kooks are great, imo. Mine fit perfectly.

Out of the two listed : AS&M

Best bang for the buck : Ceramic Pacesetter Long Tubes

Best overall : Stainless Steel Kooks

I voted other.
