If you are going carbed, you can take out the PCM/ECU altogether, however, if you are staying fuel injected, you will need some sort of PCM since whatever platform you will be installing, the sensors, engine harness, and ECM will most likely not transfer over. Could you provide some more information on your setup please? 92slo-maro 02-20-2008, 09:16 PM it is a 71 model carburated w\ .060 over pistons, steel crank, cast heads w\202-160 valves and 58cc`s around 10.5:1 (not really a stroker} 2000GTP 02-21-2008, 12:57 AM Your exising wiring harness and ECU will be of little good then. Your best option then would be to get aftermarket gauges and see if you can rig up a decent looking instrument panel with them. | ||
