Marc 85Z28 01-30-2008, 09:17 PM Just use plain old Dexron III. Avoid synthetic transmission fluids. They cause all sorts of problem with transmissions not designe to use them, like our 4L60E. Z-RATED94 02-01-2008, 12:05 AM Marc 85Z28 is correct. What gears do you have, to go with the Yank? Did you pick up a B&M supercooler and a shift kit too? The shifts without a kit might feel a little sloppy. rskrause 02-01-2008, 06:59 AM It is called a torque converter, not a "stall" for God's sake! :p And I agree, use a plain old tranny fluid. With a built A4 I'd assume it's got some shift kit equivalent in it :) Just go with regular DexronIII Z-RATED94 02-01-2008, 01:52 PM With a built A4 I'd assume it's got some shift kit equivalent in it :) Just go with regular DexronIII Your right, my mistake. I still havent got it in the mail and tomorrow im picking up a b&m supercooler. I just want to get everything ready before the install so im not just jumping around lookin and wondering about ****. Z-RATED94 02-01-2008, 04:54 PM Order your MT street radials yet? Your gonna need them. ;) Sunsetmaro 02-01-2008, 05:06 PM Order your MT street radials yet? Your gonna need them. ;) I wish I could. Im sporting bfgoodrich Kdw's in the back I have 17x9.5 front and 18x10.5 in the rear and I dont think Micky makes them bigger then 17's =( Marc 85Z28 02-01-2008, 07:51 PM the tranny has a transgo kit and carbon fiber bands, upgraded shell, the works. Even more important to use standard Dexron III. Aftermarket performance clutches do NOT like synthetics at all. | ||
