I've noticed on my GF's camaro that when you first use the brakes after starting the car for the first time that day that the brakes grab really hard and abruptly. In fact today when I went to put it on my driveway to do the muffler work and hit the brakes when I first moved forward one tire skidded a bit as soon as I applied the brakes. After a few stops then its fine for the rest of the day. Any ideas? It felt like the tire that skidded a bit was the front passenger side. The brake pads and rotor are in good condition too.

Mine do that too, I don't think it's anything to be concerned about.

My brakes do it also. Maybe it's just pressure built up in the brake lines that make them touchy at first, or something along those lines. :)

My car does that too. I just got my car so i was getting kinda worried about it. I guess it's good to hear that it's common.

My brakes get EXTREME touchy if the car has been sitting and it rained...
