I know...mid 15's vs. high 17's :p ibanez6rg 12-12-2002, 09:13 PM Originally posted by Tiago the injecctors are 17lb! ;) You sure?? :) V6 Punk 93 12-12-2002, 09:26 PM Originally posted by Ve/\/om The 3.4 DOHC is better!!! Maybe a few poorly tuned 3.4's are running high 17's but most of them I see are running mid-high 16's. 94GrayV6 12-12-2002, 10:43 PM This should help... http://engine.firebirdv6.com/ Oh yeah typical stock acceleration times are 0-60 in 9ish and 1/4 in the high 16s. I know...mid 15's vs. high 17's :p the dohc 3.4L is very unreliable, likes to eat alternators, break timing chains, and a huge long list.... Very expensive to maintain. THe 3.4L has cast aluminum pistons.... which is a downfall when it comes to severely tuning it. 3.4L are typically high 16s.. and hey my 3.4L is mid 15s:) 94TeALFiReBiRd 12-13-2002, 02:31 PM yea i know someone with a 3.4 lumina z34 always messes up....... Not really if well maintained....and there timing belt engines. ALL dohc 3.4's are forged aluminum rods/pistons. | ||
