I'm selling my 97 corvette. I have never really cared for automatic transmission, so this car has never been fun for me to drive. I'm also trying to save up to buy a house, so their is no reason to keep this car around.
The good:
black interior/black exterior
lexan transparent removable top
85k miles
goodyear runflats with 75% tread remaining
custom catback exhaust (similar to SLP loudmouth)
always parked under coverd parking or in garage.
washed/claybared/waxed frequently
Mobil 1 oil changes
The bad:
oil press gauge doesn't work. The sensor failed. It's only a $29 part
the gear indicator on the shifter is broken. It doesn't tell you what gear your in.
The parking brake won't stay up. THe locking mechanism is messed up.
I've seen Vettes with this mileage go for $16K+ but I imagine they were pristine. Since mine has a few discrepancies, I'm asking $14,800 obo.
THe following link contains many pictures and a couple soundclip videos of the exhaust. My wife is not included in the sale.
