Is it a 305 or a 350?

Most people seem to have good fortune with the LT1 cam, in any event, and I think it might not have too much lift.

The lt1 cam and vortec heads is a good low budget build. Thats what I run but I havnt really gotten all the bugs worked out so I couldnt tell you the full potential. The cam works well with the stock springs, but thats about their limit. My vortecs are machined and have better springs for .500+ lift cams so I really want to go with a ZZ4 cam, maybe this summer I reckon. 2 guys on thirdgen.org are running that cam in their 305 tbis with pretty good success.
