The car needs a modern emblem that when someone of a non Camaro background would see it they would know it is a Camaro emblem. The one shown here most in the public have no idea other than it is a Chevy.

Count me in for the stripes..... Camaro stripes are like the Corvette flags.

3- It can't be that specific emblem. There needs to be a fresh design or reinterpretation of that one.

I, personally, really like the bowtie (in body color) on the front of the grille.

But I' like to see the stripes SOMEWHERE on/in the car.

I just want the regular Bowtie on front and back, and I like the version of Camaro marking that is on the concepts and Bumblebee.

Anyways, +1 here. I'd love to see it. I don't judge a car by it's badging...okay I lied;) I do - and I'm terrible for it.

But the Camaro doesn't need the Stripes badge to be a Camaro, however, I think it would be quite fitting for it. That badge is heritage, NOT retro, or ghey:mad:. It's been on nearly every Camaro since the mid-late 2nd gens.

As I said above, though - the Car will still look magnificent w/o it.

I suggested the "ribbon" in place of the gold bowtie the the Camaro's VLE a while ago.

Design really wants that gold bowtie...

Ribbon must be updated, and subtle.!.(smaller)

Seems natural to have it. I think my favorite Camaro badge on the front of the car was the big C in red on the 70 model.

I like the 4th generation emblem, of course I do, it's on my arm, but I would like to see it evolve, like it has since the 70's up until 2002.

I prefer the tri-bar/red bowtie emblem.

The tri-color stripe and emblem just doesn't look right on the center of the grille. If it was up to me I would leave it a bowtie with no gold, all silver with a black/white/chrome or no outline. If it's an SS, it would take the place of the bowtie and if it was a Z28 it would be a red outlined bow tie in the center grille, w/ a Z06 like Z28 emblem on the fender. More modern instead of blanking out the center grille and putting it on the driver's side of the grille.

I know what you ment but if you want to fix it do it in your own quote not mine.

I am not mad but I do find it improper to change what someone else said in their own quote as I do not agree with your fix.

i find it doesnt suit the car. for its time/era.

Needs the Gold Bowtie on the front, and a retro/modern Z/28 badge in the corner grill (for the model of course), as well as the rear.

I'd suggest using the gold bowtie on base cars with no bowtie and an offset Z28 badge (a updated take) on the Z28 model. "SS" model should be centered replacing bowtie.

As for the OP, I was thinking about the tri-color ribbon, but the photochop convinces me it doesn't match the car. I'm expecting gold bowties on the production car.

The tri-color ribbon should be somewhere even if it's on the back like the 2nd Gens. ;) The bowtie should also be the red outline! :D

How about the Bow Tie in the grill and the ribbon in the center of the gauges where the 1969 has the AC emblem.

I don't support this. I prefer the large Bowtie. Gold in color?? -- well - thats another thing altogether. I might paint mine blue, with red trim.

Put the tri-color emblem on the hood or slightly below the opening and leave the bowtie on the grill.

I'd actually prefer a body color bowtie. Putting the stripes would be like putting the old script Camaro on the front too. I'm not in favor of it. Let it evolve.

I think that those hoping for a bow tie in any color other than gold will be out of luck. Chevy has put a lot of marketing effort into the gold bowtie as defining ALL Chevys over the last few years. They're not going to go back to Blue and Red (which I liked) or do body color. Those options dilute their current branding.

I do think that we could see RS/SS/Z28 badging replacing the bowtie on those models, but if it's a bowtie, I'd say it's pretty certain it will be gold.

Well the good news is that if you want to change it, i'm sure the aftermarket will come up with all sorts of things.

I'm all for an updated version of the red white and blue logo. :)
