Here are the results of that survey that I believe most of us took a while back from Hot Rod Magazine.
I dont know if this has been posted or not.

50% said they'd choose a "ZL1" option with the LS9. I realize it's a performance magazine survey, but I'd highly doubt when the chips are down the top Camaro package will see anything near those numbers.

Remember with surveys there are Lies, Damn Lies and statistics.
You can make numbers say whatever you want just in the wording or who you ask. If you ask a Hot Rod readership what would you expect.

Yes, they did ask the Hot Rod readership, but I seem to remember this survey stirring up and awful lot of votes from this site as well...

Aside from the questions being made up out of thin air, and not having much to do with what will actually be available, they forgot the most important question.
How many of you can afford the options you voted for?

Exactly. Everyone will vote the way they will in a fantasy world, because that is what a poll like that is. When it comes time for people to find their wallets, everything changes. It comes down those lies and damn lies. ;)

If you look at the amount of people that spend thousands of dollars on the cars they own around here. I think you will find that there are a lot of people that will be able and willing to purchase the baddest Camaro ever built.

I took the survey and will buy the hotest one I can get. Not because I will race it, just to Know I can if I want to. I doubt that Most of us will be able to afford the first ones out because there will probably be a premium on the price till the new wears off some. I do believe one thing though, If they don't build a v6 that will compete in price with the bottom line Mustangs, It won't be around for long....
