Ok, firstoff I am not 100% sure of the background on my engine, so I was ORIGINALLY planning on going with a full rebuild. The funds arent coming in like I wanted, so now I am just looking at a head/supercharger swap.
After doing a lot of research , I think I am running close to a 10:1 compression ratio with my double valve relief pistons, and heads with a 60cc chamber (small 1.72 /1.5 valves). C:Ratio is my main concern considering boost.
The engine is a 327 (supposedly .030 over). Small journal , forged 3.25" crank with 5.7" forged rods.
If I go to a 75cc chamber , I am guessing I will be in the 8.5 to 8.75" C:R area? (now it should be close to 10:1)
I am interested in the AFR 195 intake , 75cc chamber , Eliminator aluminum heads. Right now I am running the L79 .447 .447 222 222 114lsa cam.
Is this the right set of heads I should run if I want to just bolt up my 142 blower/head combo?
If I am missing info , please ask away. This will be hooked to a th400 and then to a 10 bolt with 4.10's. What type of STALL do you recommend I run? I have a "clueless" stall right now and would like to swap it out while I am at it.
Also these ELIMINATOR heads come with 3/8 rocker studs and I have 1.6 pro comp mag rockers in the 7/16 stud range. How hard is it to swap out the studs? If the heads dont get the C:R down enough, do you recommend just using THICK head gaskets; or should I be fine!?
