I havent seen any mention of it here but i was just on chevrolets site and under upcoming vehicles they had it listed, and i clicked on it expecing to see a 2007 aveo face on a hatch, but i saw this. (http://www.chevrolet.com/aveo/5/)

im not sure if i like it or not. I didnt much like the malibu at first and i love it now, so i guess we shall see...

They're offering leatherette in an Aveo?? LOL. I thought it was crazy enough that they're offering leather in the Civic and Corolla now.

...It takes a minute to take it in...

That picture is definitely not a flattering one, the grille looks like it takes up the whole car. But it grows on you a little. Kinda looks like it's sticking it's tongue out at you: "I'm small. Go screw yourself!"

I'm still gonna get one when I can afford it. This new face for the Aveo5 makes look cuter than a Fit, and yes, the Fit was cute looking.

Holds a specific gear longer when traction is low (doesn't shift so quick).

The real question is will they give it the xfe treatement? This car needs to hit 40mpg highway.

The Aveo gets 34 mpg hwy. The Cobolt xfe gets 36 mpg hwy. What's the point of buying an Aveo when you could get something that at least has some space, and actually be able to use in normal daily life, unless you are looking to save a few bucks?

And with a new Delta sedan due out next year that gets 40mpg hwy, I can't see the Aveo surviving unless it gets a smaller more efficient engine.
