...FLP's headers with off-road pipe and a loudmouth? This is the set-up I'll be working on this spring. The loudmouth is already in and the FLP's are waiting to be installed. My question is, how loud or what kind of tone I'll looking at. I know it will be very loud, but what I don't want to get rid of the loudmouth. Is there any way I can modify the cat back system to ease up on the tone? Any at all options (not opinions) are welcome.

It's kind of ironic, to want the loudmouth, but not the loud exhaust note. The only thing I can think of is to get a muffler, but that would be kind of silly IMO.
You may also want to think about having some type of plate system fabricated, like that which the Borla uses.

....God I love the people that sit in front of the computer 24-7, thanks for the quick response. I'm not certain how the borla plate system works, can you please lend me a brain:)
Thanks Jack;

LOL, I guess I'm hooked.
The borla comes with plates, each having a different sized hole. The smaller the hole, the quieter the exhaust. Without a plate, it is obnoxious. Kind of like the loudmouth. This might be an option for you! :)

You could also replace your resonator on the loudmouth with a bullet muffler, not sure which one would keep it quiet, ask around to find out though, and that would be the best way in my opinion.
