The 4.3 makes about the same horsepower and only slightly more torque than the 3.8 series II. Even though it's a big job to swap from the 3.4 to the 3.8, I'm willing to bet the 3.8 swap will be easier than a 4.3 swap.

pretty much anything is possible if you have the time and $$, but to agree with above the 3.8 is probbaly going to be much easier or maybee the LT1

just saw this the 4.3 is the same as the older 350 sb trans pattern, the 3.4 is the same as the 3800
