I hope GM doesnt use a lame patternGTOJack 12-04-2007, 12:27 PM for its production cloth interior. GTOJack 12-04-2007, 05:52 PM Lame as in the 01 and 02 designs. 97QuasarBlue3.8 12-04-2007, 06:49 PM You mean the quasi/mini zebra-print fabric on the door panels and seats? 67BOWTIE 12-04-2007, 07:13 PM for its production cloth interior.:( i hope it has blk leather GTOJack 12-05-2007, 03:37 PM The only leather I would pay extra for is the leather that was in my 04 and 05 GTOs. Anything less shows signs of wear at 20,000 miles. DAKMOR 12-05-2007, 03:51 PM Anything other than grey as far as looks and I don't like leather, so, a nice looking cloth pattern would be okay. sandles 12-06-2007, 09:51 AM I was looking over some proto-type seats today and I wouldn't be to concerned. pickardracing 12-06-2007, 03:20 PM No Tan JJJ93z 12-06-2007, 09:52 PM I was looking over some proto-type seats today and I wouldn't be to concerned. Got pics? I don't mind the 2 tone smooth cloth in my '93, but the jungle print definitely has to go. sandles 12-07-2007, 07:14 AM I could have pics. Then of course I would spend way to much time on here as I wouldn't have a job. GTOJack 12-07-2007, 08:24 AM ^ Thats good news. my94blackz 12-09-2007, 03:12 PM I would have liked to seen a leather version of the LT1 red and black cloth. That color scheme was awesome. JJJ93z 12-09-2007, 03:33 PM I could have pics. Then of course I would spend way to much time on here as I wouldn't have a job. Great, at least we know your a legit source! :D Don't take this the wrong way but what is your body type? height/weight/build? Just so we can get a better idea of how you fit in these seats! Thanks. ws6transam 12-09-2007, 04:23 PM I figured that Jack was afraid GM was going to do an all-rainbow interior. Than I got to thinking about the 1993 Indy 500 pace car edition, and thought rainbow wouldn't be too bad, assuming it was mixed with some charcoal-grey on the side-bolster! GTOJack 12-09-2007, 05:21 PM No tuity fruity patterns for me. I just hope the guy who posted earlier who has seen the new Camaro interior and liked it isnt lame. I also hope I'll be able to close the drivers door when I am sitting in the drivers seat. Thank G0d GM is going with the tilt/telescopic steering column with the new Camaro, that was the only way I could fit into the 04 and 05 GTOs I owned. 90 Z28SS 12-28-2007, 09:15 PM After seeing GM's latest cloth seats in the newest models , Im not to worried about this . I think the days of cheap mouse fur and wierd patterns are gone . GM's leather in there newest models seems to be much more durable then even just a few years ago . The only seating upgrades I will/would pay extra for , is if by some chance the leather option has houndstooth inserts ...or if there is a Recaro seat upgrade like in the Cobalts . I would also pay extra for Microsuede . The Cobalt SS , HHR SS and the Malibu LT all have microsuede inserts , they would be nice in the Camaro too . 90rocz 12-28-2007, 10:19 PM After seeing the new Malibu's interior, I look forward to seeing what they'll do with the Camaro. 97z28/m6 12-29-2007, 01:10 AM guess i need to look at the new 'bu's cloth seats. 90 Z28SS 12-29-2007, 01:31 AM Yeah , its really nice . The mid pack LT is nicer inside than the LTZ imo ...because of the microsuede . 97z28/m6 12-29-2007, 01:47 AM Yeah , its really nice . The mid pack LT is nicer inside than the LTZ imo ...because of the microsuede .might stop by the dealer tomorrow. :D OutsiderIROC-Z 12-30-2007, 12:59 PM No Tan +1, I despise tan interiors, they seem to be EVERYWHERE... 97z28/m6 12-30-2007, 01:50 PM +1, I despise tan interiors, they seem to be EVERYWHERE...then don't order it in tan.:p 90rocz 01-02-2008, 01:00 PM I'd love to see some color in the Camaro interior, it is a sports car, so to speak. I like richer tones too, they don't look so cheap. Instead of tan, a richer brown, not meaning darker, just more color. And rich blacks or deep charcoals etc.. And I sincerely hope there's no light-gray plastic in it anywhere...:p Malibu interior: http://static.flickr.com/133/354177167_e234f3e293_m.jpg Fbodfather 01-04-2008, 12:29 AM GTO -- Repeat after me: "It's about the people!" FAD1 05-22-2008, 05:49 PM THe simple the better. As long it doesnt have the seats from the 4th gen (Which I'm sure they wont use) the seats should be fine. My 08 Altima has good seats but sometimes when i really sit, i could hear metal parts in the seat. Hopefully they come standard with power seats. :D 97z28/m6 06-07-2008, 12:45 PM Hopefully they come standard with power seats. :Di hope thats an option. GTOJack 06-10-2008, 07:35 AM Mustangs come with power drivers seat standard, so look for it to be standard on the new Camaro. Wicked1 06-10-2008, 09:33 AM ^^^thats dumb...i want to be able to order an AC delete, cloth non powered seat, crank window, manual locks, crappy stereo, with the top dog drivetrain package and body clading...that would be saweetttttt..... diarmadhi 06-10-2008, 10:18 AM ^^^thats dumb...i want to be able to order an AC delete, cloth non powered seat, crank window, manual locks, crappy stereo, with the top dog drivetrain package and body clading...that would be saweetttttt..... That would be hideously expensive to gm. This isnt a race car, its a major production vehicle. It needs to have the standard features of the current competition just to survive. JeremyNYR 06-10-2008, 01:24 PM I would expect power windows, locks, mirrors and drivers seat to be standard. They are on the base model 2008 G6 I have that cost a lot less than the Camaro will. It wouldn't be worth the additional cost of designing and building the manual versions of those parts since most buyers would opt for the power versions anyway. Dealers would demand those options on anything they ordered anyway, so they have the best chance of selling the cars instead of having it sit on the lot until the "right buyer" comes along 97z28/m6 06-10-2008, 08:00 PM Mustangs come with power drivers seat standard, so look for it to be standard on the new Camaro.not base ones: http://www89.forddirect.fordvehicles.com/Dispatch.jsp?makeTransition=ToConfigTrimSelect&__action2=&.CurrentState=BuildAndPriceSplit&processZipCode=silent&processModel=&statetoken= Wicked1 06-11-2008, 09:42 AM hmm...i know most cars have all that power crap these days, but i just miss the days when there was an actual list of many different options to be had with your new car. Nowdays the options list just seems to get smaller and smaller, so its basically pick a model, color, and wheels(maybe) oh and dont forget the navigation system just in case you get lost on your way home:lol: | ||
