m6 question

fixing to buy 94 camaro 6 speed
but the motor has a rod thru it but i have a 74 model 360sbc
will that tranny bolt up to the older style blocks?
or what will i have to do to make it work?

If it is a chevy small block V8, then it should bolt right up with the same bellhousing as the LT1.
