in the search for a SFI bell housing i came across a post in the FI area with another like to a thread about a guy getting hurt after his clutch came apart and going through the floor board. so i found this one one summit

has anyone used this bell housing with any success??

No that won't fit if you are using the stock clutch setup. Nobody has a aftermarket housing that fits directly to the LT-1's. Mcleod is working on one, but there is no release date.

Quicktime is working on one, too. Supposed to be available now, and if it is I will get one very soon:

Is that part number RM-6023?

The RM-6023 is for a LS-1 based T-56. If you notice they claim the height will be 5.55" that is the same as the Mcleod 8710-00. The LT style bellhousing from Tremec is 4.950". So it looks like the Quicktime will NOT work for the LT guys.
