Im planing on supercharging a lt1 engine going with a little higher boost than 7 psi, around 12/15 psi. I want to buy buy dished type pistons to lower compresion ratio up to 9.00:1 to prevent detonation. But i cant seem to find around, a specific brand or number for the lt1 engine with stock heads, crankshaft and rods. Please help on this im kinda rookie on this. the brand and part number would be apreciated or piston dimensions will work also..
thanks

The standard 1st gen s.b. Chevy and the LT-1 use the same internal rotating assembly parts.

Try going to: http://www.jepistons.com/cat/je/auto/chevy_sb/extreme_duty_23_inv.shtml

This will list a variety of forced induction pistons. Most likely, you will find something that meets your needs.
