Asking $6700, or $5900 without the ZR1s
I'm putting my 1994 Pontiac Firebird Formula up for sale. I'd love to not have to drive it through the upcoming snow, and I want a bike come springtime.
The car's in awesome shape, inside and out. The pics speak for themselves on that. It runs like a charm and sounds great. The exterior has only a few small imperfections. You really have to look hard to see the few flaws in the paint. It's almost 14 years old, but it looks like it's only about 5. I'm a detailer as a hobby, and I'm a part-time mechanic since I'm a student, so I've always maintained it with the best of the best and on-time. I've only had synthetic oil in it in the year-and-a-half I've owned it. I just changed it a month ago with German Castrol. It's been my only vehicle ever since I bought it, and it's never let me down in any way.
BASICS
-85000 miles. I've put on about 12k since I bought it.
-AT
-Near perfect cloth interior
-Teal metallic
-Power everything and it all works. Tilt, Cruise, etc.
-Hardtop
-Eclipse AM/FM/CD and Pioneer fronts
MODS
-SLP cold air intake
-Pacesetter coated long tubes and brand new O2s
-Custom true dual setup w/ Moroso bullets....Sounds badass!
-AIR/EGR/cats delete
-18x9.5 Chrome ZR1 wheels
-Almost new 275/40/18 Sumitomo HTRZII rubber
-Shift Kit....trans shifts firm and smooth
-Taylor wires and NGK TR-55s
-Lowered fan temps in the tune
-LT4 knock
-Black LS1 Formula badges, black vinyl "PONTIAC" and bird inlays
-Nightshaded corner and marker lenses
-BitViper shorty antenna
The car looks just the way I envisioned it looking when I bought it, short of lowering and tinted windows.
-Also comes with the factory 16" 5 spoke alloys and half-life Eagle GT-HRs
I'm not forced to sell it. If I don't get what I want from it, I'll keep it and get a bike later. I don't feel the price I'm asking is out of line. I feel it reflects the great shape the car is in, as well as how hard these cars are to find in nice shape. The price also reflects some of the money I just spent in the wheels/tires/exhaust, since they are all new within the last few months with less than 1k miles on the tires.
Asking $6700 with both sets of wheels and tires. That price is relatively firm. Don't bother with extreme lowballs.
If you're interested without the 18s, I'm asking 5900
I will also throw in my AKMCable USB to ALDL cable for tuning/diagnostics.
TRADES I'M LOOKING FOR
First off, I'll say that I'm not driving across the country. Any potential trade must be within somewhat reasonable distance.
-LS1 6 Speed car. I can throw in some cash. Probably not more than 2-3 thousand; I haven't really looked over finances yet.
-Pickup truck. I'd be looking for a truck plus cash. No junk, but no brand new Silverados. S-10 or Sonoma would be ideal.
-Sportbike. Only looking for a few. FZR, SV650, Ninja 500 or 650. Try me, but I will say no to a Gixxer or other all-out RR inline-4.
Thanks for looking. I can be reached through a reply here, PM, or e-mail. My e-mail is jcopelan@purdue.edu.
