Im looking to find a set of headers that will fit without the ac and the rad in the factory position. Got a mpt70. Was thinking maybe some block huggers? Need advice. Need to either find some headers or go with a log setup. Suggestions would be great.

Im looking to flip these forward and delete the ac. I was wondering if anyone see any problems with getting them to fit? They look like they will clear the steering and everything in a lt1 camaro

I know about realquik I just want to fab up my own kit.

And I think he uses regular sbc flanges on his kits.

Regular SBC flanges are fine... as long as the hole in the flnage is bigger than the port, your fine.

Those headers dont look bad... are they 1/4" flanges though? Kind of thin, but you technically could use them. Honestly, get a set of shorty headers specific for an LT1, run them in their normal location, merge them near the starter, have the single merged pipe run under the pass. side motor mount tot he front and then mount the turbo anywhere in front.

If you truly want a set of LT1 headers that clear everything when facing forward, the SLP dual cat headers will work.

Those headers have 5/16 flanges and 1 5/8 primarys.

Well those didn't fit. Time to build logs.

What part? Looks like the pass. side may come out and hit the inner fender?

The drivers side cleared the steering but kind rubbed on the rag joint and dumped on the sway bar. Passenger side hit fenderwell.
Just gonna be easier to build something outta scratch.
