I was down in Bowling Green over the weekend and stopped by NCM and I checked there event schedule and there is no Camaro/Firebird Invasion scheduled for 2008. I also checked there website and nothing. I thought is was only going on a one year hiatus in 2007, which the 40th Anniversary event in Detroit took its place and be back for 2008.

I dont anticipate an FCar NCM event in 2008.

GM is planning unveiling event(s) in 2008 for the 5th gen. It's too soon to get into specifics. Once GM's plans are finalized, you can be sure the details will be posted here.

 

I knew once they stopped having them there, they wouldn't come back this year. But who could blame them, last year hardly anybody showed up.

 

That'll change once there's a new Camaro for sale.

 

not only that but Sept is the Big 100Yr Birthday of Chevrolet. They may have other plans for that.
