Where can I get a set of these relatively cheap for my Camaro? I've found them in chrome and all black on Ebay but not black with a polished/chrome lip. I don't think I've ever seen them in gunmetal although I like gunmetal too. I'm looking for 17s.

You won't, to my knowledge, find them with a chrome lip. Generally speaking, if a wheel is black with a chrome lip, it's been chromed first and then painted. Companies like Diablo do it, and charge 100$ more a wheel because you're paying for 2 separate finishes. Some have started coming with stainless lips, but I recommend you steer away from those - the stainless portion heats up at a different rate than the rest of the wheel, and you get a strange crackling noise from them that's so audible it becomes ANNOYING.
That all being said, this (http://www.wheelpros.com/brands/index.php?id=17&pid=367&pg=3) I believe is the closest thing I know off the top of my head. The brand is OE Creations, distributed exclusively, I believe, by Wheel Pros. They offer the black Z06 replica wheel with the polished lip and rivets, whereas there's another company I don't know the name of that offers it WITHOUT polished rivets.
I haven't seen them in gunmetal at all yet, but that isn't to say they don't exist, it's just that I haven't gotten any catalogs at the shop with them in it.
I'd be careful of Ebay. Check your seller out well, and look at their policies on returns. I know for a fact companies will not take wheels back once they've been mounted, so make extra sure you know what you're getting before you buy any rim/tire packages. Hope this all helps!

OE Wheels on e-bay is reputable, as well as TomZ Wheels.... Both are good quality for the price.
Sounds like OE Wheels doesn't have what you want, but TomZ just might, they had a whole C6 Section for F-bodies a few months ago

I think I will be going with silver with a machined lip C6 Z06 wheels.
Will 255 40 17 tires fit okay on a 17x9.5" wheel? These are basically for winter use when my Eclipse is broken and there is a very cheap (on closeout) set of snow tires in that size. I am concerned they have a 25" diameter according to the specs and I'm just wondering if 255 40 17 is too small? How will it affect the speedo/odo?

In that case I would suggest finding some salad shooters or other cheap stock 16" rims and getting snows for those. A 255/40 tire will do horrendous in the snow.... WAY TOO wide and low profile.
If you look most Snows are recommended as narrow as possible with as much sidewall height as possible... Wide low profile will just compact the snow and lose all traction....

OE Wheels doesnt have the 17x11 gunmetal ZR1's any more.
I had to order my rears in polished and then had them painted to match the fronts.
