Help!!!sandman63 10-20-2007, 04:04 PM Okay iam so frustrated right now. Ive got one bolt left on the passenger side manifold. Its the last one closet to the firewall. Ive tired everything. I need help please! camarozz95 10-20-2007, 04:48 PM lol yeah i think i remember that one its a pain. pretty sure i went form underneath to get it used a socket, and no joke this thing took like 20 or 30 min. to get out i could only get like less than a quarter of a turn it sucked. So good luck with that. dangalla 10-20-2007, 04:53 PM dont worry, you will only bleed a little bit sandman63 10-20-2007, 04:54 PM I dont even know how long its been, an iam just getting so fustrated i want to throw it off a bridge. Does anyone have any tips? Im very desperate right now. moroso99 10-20-2007, 06:56 PM i helped with camarozz95 header install. your just gunna need alot of extensions go from the bottom. if you could get some help from someone to help put the socket on the bolt while your underneath that helps too. put some liquid wrench on it, help soften it up. sandman63 10-21-2007, 12:52 PM No one else has tips? Bayer-Z28 10-21-2007, 01:29 PM ^ get to it from underneath. a lot more room in there. sandman63 10-21-2007, 09:31 PM I dont know how theres anymore room under there? I went back under there an everytime i get something on it, i cant even get a click of the rachet, it either hits the body or the collector. I cant even get a wrench in there either. sandman63 10-22-2007, 09:02 PM No one? sandman2100 10-23-2007, 09:41 AM With mine I used a 1/4 in ratchet and a stubby extension. I layed like superman across the front of the engine and ran my arm back and tightened it. I have edelbrock TES headers, so I'm not sure that helps everyone else. I had to pull the passenger side off and weld up a crack in the collector. Whole jobbie took 2 hours to do and that included welding and driving out to vato-zone to get a header gasket and trying to find the donut. | ||
