Purple Hornies

I have a 92 RS that Im building a 406 for it and I hate the idea of having one muffler in the back (Fuel pump changes are the worst thing ever!!) and I wanted to go with a true dual setup but i dont see any room for it. I looked at the purple hornies and just wanted a little more info about these header mufflers for use on the street. Any help would be greatly appreciated

PM revtime on here, he runs them on his lt1 and they sound good and it isn't really that loud.

Stupid question....Would I have to run a cat. converter before these or can I run them str8 from the headers? (Daily driver)
