Got stuff, wanna install it to replace factory non Bose/Monsoon AC/Delco unit.

From what I know I need:

antenna adapter

21 pin harness adapter

speaker harness for front and back speakers.

dash kit

so do I

Pull stock head unit
Attach antenna adapter
Attach 21 pin harness adapter
Install head unit with dash kit

Pull stock speakers
Attach speaker harnesses
Install speakers

For speakers: the components will go up front in doors and coaxials back in rear side passenger panels. Instructions are in German so I got no idea what is in them.

or

Do I just hardwire head unit direct to speakers and battery (per Alpine instrcutions in English) :) use antenna adapter and dsah kit but not the factory harness and factory speaker wiring.

or

Just go to my local car electronics shop and let them figure out what to do?

No amp or CD changer is in the future. I'm 43, got a tin ear and just like to crank it up a touch when I'm on the open road.

If you only intend to power the speakers with the new HU then your first procedure would be the way to go. No sense in running all new speaker wires if you aren't going to be using an outboard amp.

In my opinion I would lose the components. Just using the HU to push them you will never get them to perform. At least this has been my experience.

Even a 35x4 would add a lot of rich tonality to your sound. I'm not talking about loud, I am more talking about being full and enjoyable to listen to.

Your current set-up, while it sounds like you are off to a good start, is kind of like trying to power a garbage truck with a 2 stroke. I would down grade my speakers or add an amp, and never under estimate what 4 coaxial MB Quarts can do for you;)
