Ok guys, The car is going to the shop today. It will have a few improvements done, line lock, abs delete, bigger I-pipe and cut-out, etc. Plus a nitrous tune, now that its installed. What size shot should I run on this Nitro Daves plate system? The car has 370rwhp now on a 30k stock bottom end. I'm torn between 100, 125 and 150 more rwhp. This will only be for the track and see maybe 3 or 4 bottles a year. The trans is stock and I'm not planning on spraying through the shifts. And when it does let go, I'll have a decent one built. The rear is stock too, with an Auburn Pro series posi, Motive 3.73 gears, TA cover, and the tubes will be welded and triangulated for added support.
So what do you think? A few guys Iv'e talked to have done the 150shot on top of 400rwhp stock bottom ends and had good luck for quite a while. The kit does have all of the safety features and the dyno operator says he can give it a safe tune. Should I go for it? Thanks for reading.

what I would reccomend is working your way up the chart.
Do a 100 shot if everything looks OK go to 150...etc.

Rick, you know what they say, it is addicting. You will start at a 100-125 shot and before you know it you will be at a 150 shot. I vote 150rwhp, as long has every thing is done right. Having seen your car I know you do not cut corners;) If you have a good fuel pump, FPSS, colder plugs (TR6), WOT switch, window switch, bottle heater, etc. you will be fine with a 150rwhp shot, that and the boys at Speed Inc to dial it in. You have the mallory 685 correct? If so when you say "nitrous tune" do you mean that they will dial it in on N2O, using the 685 to pull timing OR that they will pull timing via the computer? Just a guess but I am sure you are still going to be as a aggresive as possible N/A and use the 685 to pull timing. Just a clearification. Are you still hoping to run at the track this year? Either way LOW eleven's high ten's are in your near future:cool: Good luck and keep us updated.

Just got back from dropping it off. They talked me into a 150 shot, which wasn't hard to do. ;) James, they will use the 685 to pull the timing. And I will hit the track one more time this year. I want to hit 11.90s before I use the bottle. And yes, Ray set me up with all the goodies.
