Trans shifts to softlyProjectcam94 10-07-2007, 11:57 PM This is my first z so im not sure if this is normal? When it kicks in from 1st to 2nd it does it super softly.. I hate to admit it but when i got on my friends v6 stang it kicks real hard when it goes to 2nd.. ANy way i can make mine shift firm? Maybe with a kit or a tune? Light throttle will be soft. Even if it doesn't bark the tires hitting second at full throttle, it should shift pretty hard. If everything is stock (programming and such), it is more than likely due to worn components in the transmission. A change in tune or a shift kit won't be able to overcome that (at least, not for long). | ||
