I have a N.O.S. T.B.I. Plate on my RS I was wondering what the max hp it will flow? and what the jets would be to go about it. (from a 150 up)

Max hp jetting on a plate?funina91ss 10-06-2007, 01:54 PM I have a N.O.S. T.B.I. Plate on my RS I was wondering what the max hp it will flow? and what the jets would be to go about it. (from a 150 up) AutoRoc 10-07-2007, 08:20 PM You'd want to do some number punching to figure out nitrous to fuel ratio, especially if you use the wierd TBI fuel pressure. isn't that 10-15psi roughly? It would be a very different jet spread than a 6psi or 40psi tuneup. As for the plate's capabilities, I've never seen the design. is it a perimiter or spray bar type? I bet it can flow more than you need but working your way up from 100-150-175-200 can be done safely. If it can't flow more, you'll see no gain in performance basically. funina91ss 10-08-2007, 11:57 AM right now for the 150 jet I am using a 68 N20(I think) and I know I am using a 41 fuel jet, it called for a 46 but it was way to rich. All tuning will be done on a dyno with a wideband (that is how we got where we are right now. The plate has two bars in the middle of the plate. I guess I am going to have to us some math to figure out what jets to use. First pull was a 298hp and 404 tq leaned it out and it went to 311/424 But we will be tuning the motor this week to get the fuel lined out on it. (its way rich NA/ and on the spray from 3-4200rpms. | ||
